Supermarket and chip shop

The Spar Supermarket in Nagele is located 700 meters from the campsite. There you can get tasty sandwiches and groceries. In addition, the village has since 2021 the Frietbakkerij. Here you can not only buy delicious fries and snacks, but also burgers, wraps, sandwiches, salads and coffee and cake. The Frietbakkerij is located next to the Spar. We have the menu of the Frietbakkerij on the campsite.

Museum Nagele

Did you know that Nagele is known for its special architecture? The story of designers of the New Building, such as Rietveld, Merkelbach and van Eyck, is told in it museum and is visible in it house Polman.

UNESCO world heritage site Schokland

UNESCO world heritage site Schokland is located 5 km from the campsite. Schokland is a former island in the Zuiderzee and was the first in the Netherlands to receive UNESCO World Heritage status. You experience thousands of years of history. Spend a day at the museum or take a walk in the 490 hectare nature reserve. The 50-year-old shock forest and the wet grassland form the perfect breeding ground for spoonbills, godwits and other meadow birds.

Fishing village of Urk

The fishing village Urk is located at a distance of 10 kilometers. There is plenty to do in Urk! Enjoy a snack and a drink in one of the many restaurants. Go to the beach or the forest or go on a Ginkies tour.

Swimming at Schokkerstrand and eating at Pier 16

Enjoy a dip in the Ketelmeer or launch your boat and go sailing. The Kettle Lake is a fifteen-minute bike ride (5 km) from the campsite. It is also easily accessible by car. You can park your car next to the beach. Want to enjoy lunch/dinner after swimming? Which can! There is a restaurant at the beach called Pier 16.

Pantropica

The. is a fifteen minute drive away Pantropica. There you can discover different types of gardens and spot animals. For example, they have a floating flower garden, a rainforest and a meerkat garden! There is also a large indoor playground of 1000m2.
